Wagner & Me is a fascinating study of composer Richard Wagner featuring actor, writer and satirist Stephen Fry. A Wagner fanatic, Fry’s passion for his music reaches euphoric peaks of fandom. But Fry is also Jewish and struggles with Wagner’s historical association with anti-Semitism. Endeavouring to find peace with this dichotomy Fry takes us on a journey through Europe discovering the rich and complex history of one of the greatest and most iconic composers of all time.
