Wild Style. Considered the first modern-day hiphop
movie, Wild Style follows a New York graffiti
artist as he tours an uptown, uptight journalist
around the hip-hop underworld of New York. The
film made its mark by featuring a variety of artists
living and performing in the streets of New York as
well as some of hip-hop culture’s most prominent
figures (such as Busy Bee Starski, Fab Five Freddy,
The Cold Crush Brothers and Grandmaster Flash).
