Description

He has performed for President Obama and Hillary Clinton and alongside legendary comedians Jerry Seinfeld, Brad Garrett, Bob Saget, Tim Conway and Garry Shandling, and now world-renowned stand-up comedian Dan Nainan is bringing his outrageous show to Sedona! There will be three performances Oct. 24-26, on the Goldenstein Stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre, presented by the Sedona International Film Festival.

International comedy star Dan Nainan got his start by taking a comedy class to get over the nervousness of speaking on stage. In his job as a demo engineer with Intel Corporation, Dan toured the world with CEO Andy Grove, demonstrating the latest technology for audiences numbering into the thousands.

After leaving Intel to pursue comedy full time, Dan has toured as a feature act with Robert Schimmel and Russell Peters.

A 100% clean comedian, Dan has performed at charity events, corporate functions, weddings, private parties, colleges, casinos, cruise ships and at the top comedy clubs in the country.

Known as “the Indian-Japanese stand-up comedian who makes presidents and world leaders cringe with laughter”, Dan has performed all over the United States, as well as in Aruba, Canada, England, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, Tanzania, Trinidad, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and multiple tours of India.  He attended the inauguration of President Obama as a guest of US Congressman Mike Honda, and he also performed at three inaugural events in Washington. He also performed at the first TED conference in India, and he recently performed on the Muscular Dystrophy Association Labor Day Telethon live from Las Vegas along with Carrot Top and Penn and Teller.

Dan has been seen on NBC's "Last Comic Standing", on A&E, Nickelodeon and on various television commercials.  Dan also does character voices on radio stations all over America, and is best known for his Bill Clinton impression.   He performed at the Democratic National Convention in Denver as a guest of Congressman Honda.

He was recently profiled in the New York Times, and a major literary agent in New York saw the article and signed him to a book deal about his transition from Intel to stand-up comedy.

All tickets include a meet-and-greet with Dan Nainan in the lobby after the show.
