Description

Award-winning singer and entertainer Scott Dreier comes to Sedona with a musical tribute to Doris Day in his live theatrical production: “Doris and Me: A Sentimental Journey” — Jan. 29-31. This heartwarming, nostalgic live show will be presented by the Sedona International Film Festival at its Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

“Doris and Me” is one man's quirky, lovable obsession with music and movie icon and America’s sweetheart, Doris Day. As the ultimate, obsessed fan, Scott makes this more than your typical tribute show to a timeless artist, taking the audience with him on a sentimental journey to nostalgic times gone by.

As he lovingly shares through classic treasured songs, personal anecdotes, humor, heart, and many Doris Day stories and history, Dreier never lets us forget how much he loves her and why he has become Doris Day's biggest fan.

If you're a Doris Day fan, it's a must; if you're not, you'll be one by the end of the show.

Songs included in the show include: Sentimental Journey, It’s Magic, Secret Love, Que Sera, Sera, Everybody Loves A Lover and many more. Dreier — like Doris Day — is genuine and warm with a strong lilting vocal instrument and possessing an endearing charisma, with that famous 'sparkling smile' that will not quit on or off stage. He is the perfect entertainer to extol Doris Day and to sing her unforgettable music.

A hit with critics and audiences, “Doris and Me” is a Critic’s Pick from “Broadway World” and winner of the 2014 and 2014 “Eddon Award”— Best Male Solo Show.
