Follow the incredible story of Los Angeles' longest-running revival theatre, the New Beverly Cinema, featuring interviews with some of the cinema's biggest fans including Kevin Smith, Seth Green, Patton Oswalt, Edgar Wright and many more. Over the years, this landmark venue has transformed from a vaudeville theatre to a nightclub, to a movie theatre. In 1978, under the leadership of owner Sherman Torgan, the cinema became a double-feature revival house renowned for its innovative and daring programming. After Torgan’s sudden passing in 2007, director Quentin Tarantino purchased the building, and Sherman's son Michael was able to keep his father's legacy alive.
