Struggling with his new life as a single father, Aaron copes with his increasingly distant relationship with his only child Tate. Twelve-year-old Tate, a timid hemophiliac, is small for his age and regularly bullied at school. Roughed up by his chief bully, Tate winds up in the hospital suffering a massive nosebleed. After a blood transfusion and Tate is sent home, Aaron starts to notice peculiar changes in his son. When he discovers that Tate could be becoming a vampire, he enlists the help of a local vampire hunter and embarks on a frantic search to find the source of the infection to stop the transformation before it’s too late.
