Spend
the day with Delaware’s avian population and the prints of John James Audubon
during a partner program with the Delaware Nature Society. This event is open
to members of the Delaware Nature Society and members of the Biggs. The day
begins at Abbot’s Mill Nature Center in Milford, DE with a birding walk led by
a Delaware Nature Society staff member. Afterwards, the group will head to the
Biggs for a boxed lunch and “brew” of your choice (beer or coffee), followed
by a tour of the Biggs’ exhibit “Audubon: Then and Now,”
led by a Biggs’ Curator. Registration includes boxed lunch and admission to
Abbot’s Mill and the Biggs. A complimentary shuttle with limited seating will
also be provided from Ashland Nature Center to transport those traveling from
New Castle County. The shuttle will depart from Ashland Nature Center at 8:30
and will return by 2:30. Space is limited and registrations are required for
all participants.
