San Francisco Bay Area fingerstyle guitarists Teja Gerken and Doug Young have performed together for over a decade. They draw from their catalogs of original compositions, Celtic tunes, jazz standards, and occasional classical pieces, using various guitars like baritone, metal-bodied resonator, and 12-strings for a rich tonal palette.
Both Teja and Doug are leading authorities on acoustic guitar, having written extensively for magazines like Acoustic Guitar and Guitar Player. They have authored several guitar instruction books and produced numerous instrument demonstration videos on YouTube, Peghead Nation, and Acoustic Guitar.
