The Sedona International Film Festival is taking its show on the road with its new “Movies on the Move” mobile movie truck and outdoor film experience!
The next event of the summer will be Tuesday, July 30 at Hillside Sedona, featuring the blockbuster big screen sensation “Dirty Dancing”. Showtime will be at dusk (approximately 7:45-8:00 p.m.).
Bring your lawn chairs and your family and friends and enjoy “Starry Night Cinema” under the stars on the festival’s giant outdoor screen with state-of-the-art projection and sound! The festival’s mobile concession stand will have movie treats available.
“Dirty Dancing” won the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life”. It was also nominated for three other Golden Globes, including Best Picture, Best Actress (Jennifer Grey) and Best Actor (Patrick Swayze).
First dance. First love. The time of your life. Baby (Jennifer Grey) is one listless summer away from the Peace Corps. Hoping to enjoy her youth while it lasts, she's disappointed when her summer plans put her at a sleepy resort in the Catskills with her parents. Her luck turns around, however, when the resort's dance instructor, Johnny (Patrick Swayze), enlists Baby as his new partner, and the two fall in love. Baby's father forbids her from seeing Johnny, but she's determined to help him perform the last big dance of the summer.

The Hillside Merchants and Restaurants will have other food and drink options as well as special promotions at the shops, businesses and galleries.
Seating will begin at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs. Parking is free and available at Hillside Sedona.
