Ever wanted to know what it’s like to be a T-bird or a Pink Lady but never quite felt cool enough to pull it off? Well, now is your chance to don those pink jackets, grease up those quiffs and let your inhibitions go for an evening where you are the stars!
The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to host the “Grease Sing-A-Long” on Saturday, July 8 at its Mary D. Fisher Theatre. Movie showtime is 7 p.m., but plan to come early to join in the fun and photo-ops!
Calling all T-Birds and Pink Ladies! You’ll rule the school as we celebrate everyone’s favorite rock-n-roll movie musical at the “Grease Sing-A-Long”!
Hop in the way back machine to 1958 at Rydell High. Show off your moves and give your vocal cords a workout (humming is OK too!). Feel free to dress up and become a "Beauty School Drop Out" in a poodle skirt or wear a T-Bird jacket and rock out to "Greased Lighting".

A wholesome exchange student (Olivia Newton-John) and a leather-clad Danny (John Travolta) have a summer romance, but will it cross clique lines?
We know that for all of you who’ve remained hopelessly devoted to Danny, Sandy, Rizzo and the whole Rydell High gang, Grease is the word! Your chills will be multiplyin’ and the mood electrifyin’ as we screen a Sing-A-Long version of “Grease” that will help you belt out such hit tunes as “You’re the One That I Want,” “Greased Lightning,” “We Go Together,” “Summer Loving,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You”, “Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee” and many more at this fun-filled screening! The film remains an iconic, feel-good celebration!
We guarantee you’ll be shouting “tell me more, tell me more!” But wait, there IS more! Come dressed to impress (make sure your bangs are curled and your lashes twirled) for our Rockin’ Rydell Costume Contest. Prizes will be awarded for the best Grease-inspired look (and if you can do a couple rounds of the “hand jive,” all the better), and whether you’re naughty or nice, spandex-suited or cardigan-clad, you’ll always be the one that we want.
So … come dressed in your favorite 50’s attire: poodle skirts for the ladies, white tee-shirt and jeans for the men … or risk being dressed by the Mary D. Fisher Theatre party team! Get your picture taken in our pink Cadillac — we’ll provide the props! Show off your skill with a hula hoop and learn how to dance the iconic song “Greased Lightning”!
