Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (Gina Davis) are a nice normal couple, in a nice normal house…who happen to be dead. Unfortunately, a new family is moving in, and not quietly. When all their attempts to spook the new owners into leaving fail, they contract the services of a “bio-exorcist” named “Beetlejuice” (Michael Keaton) to remove the new owners, only to end up becoming the main attraction to the money making family, and worse yet, stuck with an anarchistic sideshow ghoul intent on making their daughter, Lydia (Winona Ryder) his wife!
