Eight men past their prime reunite at an old Parisian bistro to rehash days gone by in the comedy “Adieu Paris”.
An old Parisian bistro with eternal charm. Eight gentlemen around the table, eight great figures. They were the kings of Paris and national treasures, they are now endangered masterpieces. In this well-established ritual, their sense of humor and self-mockery remain intact. Tender and cruel, these eight old friends hate and love each other. When suddenly, an intruder appears.
A love letter to the French capital, “Adieu Paris” marks the fourth directorial outing of actor-turned-director Edouard Baer. “Adieu Paris” had its world premiere at last year’s Lumiere Festival in Lyon and boasts a prestige cast including Pierre Arditi, Jackie Berroyer, François Damiens, Bernard Murat, Bernard Le Coq, Benoît Poelvoorde and Gérard Depardieu.
