MEASURES AND FRAMES
Measures and Frames presents contemporary classical chamber music in the 21st century context of interactive visual and audio environments. This project pairs the collaborative efforts of internationally acclaimed creators and performers, including Hollywood cult filmmakers David Lynch, Mike Patterson, Candace Reckinger, and Agnès Varda; composers Thomas Adès, Joanna Bruzdowicz, Veronika Krausas, and Marek Zebrowski; with the Penderecki String Quartet and soprano Kimberly Barber. The Recital Hall will be transformed via projection mapping into an audio-visual performance space. Animated and photographic projections will engage the audience in a hybrid musical and visual experience, creating a unique artistic and sensory aesthetic. With projections wrapping three sides of the performance space, the public will be immersed in an audio-visual landscape. Program and Performer Details
