Family Creative Studio: Exploring Animals Through Art

Saturday, April 6 | 11AM - 2PM

The Family Creative Studio is a free, drop-in event that's perfect for families and friends who love art and animals. On the first Saturday of April, from 11AM-2PM, we invite you to join us for an exciting exploration of the animal kingdom through art.

Inspired by the captivating exhibition "Rebecca Raubacher: Horses & Other Creatures," our education team has designed a special art project that's both educational and fun. You'll learn about animal adaptation – how different animals have unique features and behaviors that help them survive in their environments.

For this session, we'll be creating Grab Bag Animals! Using a variety of materials, you'll have the chance to design and craft your own animal, drawing inspiration from the diverse creatures showcased in the exhibition. This hands-on activity is not only a fantastic way to express your creativity but also an opportunity to learn about the fascinating world of animals.

The Family Creative Studio is open to all ages and skill levels. No prior art experience is necessary – just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm! Our friendly and knowledgeable education team will be on hand to assist you and provide guidance as needed.

There's no need to register in advance – simply walk in and join us for an enjoyable and enriching experience. Be sure to invite your family and friends to join in the fun!

Don't miss this chance to explore art and animals at the Family Creative Studio. Mark your calendars for the first Saturday of April and join us for an unforgettable experience!
