You can also join SPECTRUM and the QNO Waterloo Region for a Queer Night Out discussion group in the week following each screening to discuss the film.
This Queer coded classic has everything, Bette Davis’ Margo Channing is a bitchy diva with a sharp tongue, maudlin, empathetic, and self-absorbed, with a flair for drama, Bette Davis herself became a drag icon, and features homosexual innuendoes throughout the screenplay.
Films screened as part of the Rainbow Film Club are drawn from suggestions from community members/online lists of "notable classic queer films." Many films may contain outdated & problematic language or themes that can be disturbing to some audience members.
