Tonight's concert begins with music for the theatre: Korngold's sumptuous incidental music to Shakespeare's comedy, then lots of fun with Carl Czerny's spirited 6-hand arrangement of the Barber of Seville overture. We then move to the expansive warmth of Schubert's Octet, beloved by audiences and musicians alike.
