Elizabeth Nichols is a filmmaker based in Tanzania where she teaches filmmaking at Orkeeswa. She has an MFA in Filmmaking from NYU and a BA in History and Literature and History of Art and Architecture from Harvard. She has received several filmmaking awards, including the Princess Grace Award, the Wasserman Directing Award, and was recognized as one of the 25 New Faces in Independent Film by Filmmaker Magazine. Elizabeth’s films have played at festivals, including TIFF, Berlinale, True/False, and MoMI.
