Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, Perimeter's April 24 concert with Bomsori Kim has been cancelled, and the Institute is closed to both staff and visitors until further notice. - An email has been sent to all ticket holders with information on how to obtain a refund.

Winner of the 62nd ARD International Music Competition, violinist Bomsori Kim is a prize winner of the Tchaikovsky International, Queen Elisabeth, International Jean Sibelius Violin, Joseph Joachim International Violin Hannover, Montreal International Musical, and the 15th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin competitions. More than ten years since his victory at the 15th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2005, Rafal Blechacz’s career has been filled with tours and concerts all over the world. The American Gilmore Artist Award bestowed on him in January 2014, is a strong and meaningful acknowledgment that summarizes his outstanding artistic activity. Bomsori Kim and Rafal Blechacz’s first recording together was released in 2019 by Deutsche Grammophon and they make their Canadian duo debut tonight at Perimeter Institute.
