Sitkovetsky Trio
Tue, Mar 3 7:30 PM (120 min)
This piano trio has been performing together since their pre-teen years at the Yehudi Menuhin School and it shows, both through their technical confidence in one another and by a kind of interpretative empathy that operates throughout large-scale works. Sitkovetsky Trio's premier performance at Perimeter is not to be missed!

Water is ubiquitous, but the availability of fresh water is limited. Today, one in six people is under “water stress,” meaning that they have no access to clean water. It is one of the many paradoxes of water. This essential liquid, which in many ways is so commonplace, is also very peculiar. Water behaves differently than other materials in more than 70 ways.

Measures and Frames
Fri, Mar 20 7:30 PM (120 min)
Measures and Frames presents contemporary classical chamber music in the 21st century context of interactive visual and audio environments. This project pairs the collaborative efforts of internationally acclaimed creators and performers, including Hollywood cult filmmakers David Lynch, Mike Patterson, Candace Reckinger, and Agnès Varda; composers Thomas Adès, Joanna Bruzdowicz, Veronika Krausas, and Marek Zebrowski; with the Penderecki String Quartet and soprano Kimberley Barber. The Recital Hall will be transformed via projection mapping into an audio-visual performance space. Animated and photographic projections will engage the audience in a hybrid musical and visual experience, creating a unique artistic and sensory aesthetic. With projections wrapping threes sides of the performance space, the public will be immersed in an audio-visual landscape.
