Only ten monuments honoring the 100,000 Kentuckians who fought for the Union Army exist. And only the Colored Soldiers Monument in Frankfort honors the 24,000 Black soldiers who fought for the Union.\n\nBreonna Taylor's murder thrust Kentucky and its numerous monuments to the “Lost Cause” into the 2020 Movement for Black Lives. Resistance in Louisville triggered resistance in small communities for the first time in a generation. This documentary highlights the stories of those ordinary citizens who fought to redress the injustice represented by these Confederate monuments.\n
