Tartuffe
Friday, Sep 14, 2018 7:30 PM
The man of the house has lost his mind. Orgon has been taken for a ride by the devious Tartuffe, who charms his way into his household and schemes to marry his daughter, seduce his wife, and run off with the family’s fortune. Will he get wise to the con before it’s too late? Molière spins faux-religious piety and hypocrisy into high comedy in this hilarious and biting satire, one of the world’s great plays.

Considered by many to be Moliere’s strongest and funniest work, Tartuffeis a raging romp of a farce produced in partnership with Lipscomb's French Department.

September 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23 at 7:30pm in Flatt Amphitheatre.
