As the Philadelphia Film Society launches its 2024 programming, we wish to welcome you to our space. We believe that film has the power to bring people together, spark connection, incite dialogue, and create memorable experiences. This quarter, we have curated screenings that celebrate achievements in Black Cinema. Stories that highlight what it means to come-of-age, to fight for liberation, to grapple with the complexities of love, and what it means to imagine an alternative future. Whether you enjoy documentaries, dramas, comedies, or simply family fun, these films will inspire, incite, and celebrate the beauty and complexity of the Black experience.
