If you have talent, then the Park Theatre is looking for you! The Park Open Mic Night features local musicians, poets, and storytellers (and, maybe you?) Come perform, or listen to great music and stories on the second Wednesday of each month. We typically have 8 - 10 performers for two hours of fun and entertainment. Each performer is asked to have an act that is usually 2-3 songs or 5-10 minutes in length. Our professional sound system typically includes 3 vocal mics, and a 2-channel acoustic guitar amp. Bands and groups are welcome.
Open Mic Night is the Second Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm.

Comedian Jimmy Dunn
Joining the 2026 Shamrock Fest line-up is Comedian Jimmy Dunn for his second appearance at the Park Theatre.
Jimmy Dunn is an Irish-American stand-up comedian and actor. He is known for his portrayal of the "big, loud, dumb guy". In 2014, he was cast in the CBS sitcom The McCarthys. Nine years later he joined the cast of the 2023 reboot of Frasier on Paramount+. He grew up in Beverly, Massachusetts, and attributed his roles in these shows - in part - to his Boston roots, where both shows are set. He can be heard most Tuesdays on The Greg And The Morning Buzz radio network. He got his start in "show business" telling jokes in a bar in Gloucester, Massachusetts, where he was paid in beer and fried clams. A docufilm recounting the story of the tormented life of divisionist painter Giuseppe Pellizza (1868-1907), famous for his work The Fourth Estate – shown to the public for the first time at the 1902 Turin Quadriennale and housed today at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna (Modern Art Gallery) in Milan – as well as for his ability to study the soul and human society. Exploring the places he lived in as well as his artistic sensitivity, with Fabrizio Bentivoglio as our guide and “narrative consciousness”, this documentary reveals the artist’s emotions and his vision of reality through a sophisticated use of shots from different angles inspired by the colors in his paintings. Award-winning filmmaker Phil Grabsky is renowned for bringing some of the world’s most important and dazzling art exhibitions onto the big screens of cinemas across the globe. Also famous for his In Search of… classical music documentaries, he has now returned his lens – and microphones – onto the world of classical music with the release of Concerto – A Beethoven Journey.
Filmed over the course of four years, Grabsky and his Seventh Art team followed leading concert pianist Leif Ove Andsnes’s attempt to understand and interpret one of the greatest sets of works for piano ever written: Beethoven’s five piano concertos.

One cannot understand Van Gogh without understanding how Japanese art arrived in Paris in the middle of the 19th century and the huge impact it had on artists like Monet, Degas and, above all, Van Gogh. Seeing Japanese art in art shops and small Parisian galleries and then creating his own perception of Japan – through in-depth research, print collecting and detailed discussions with other artists – Van Gogh’s encounter with Japanese artworks gave his work a new and exciting direction.

ArtsCinema Series: The Mystery of Picasso
Using a specially designed transparent 'canvas' to provide an unobstructed view, Picasso creates as the camera rolls. He begins with simple works that take shape after only a single brush stroke. He then progresses to more complex paintings, in which he repeatedly adds and removes elements, transforming the entire scene at will, until at last the work is complete.
