Mission Statement

The purpose of Franklin-Southampton Concert Association is to serve the people of Franklin and Southampton County, as well as of ever widening adjacent areas, by offering a variety of quality performing artists, in a locally accessible venue and at a price affordable to all citizens.  Its purpose is to encourage an interest in the best of all types of music.

History

The Franklin-Southampton Concert Association (formerly the Franklin-Southampton Community Concert Association) is in its 39th consecutive season.  The “roots” of the organization can be traced to the Franklin Community Concert Association which had functioned in the 1940’s and 1950’s, offering a solely classical series.
