Founded in 2002, FCBB is a volunteer musical ensemble based in the greater Kansas City area. Performing a wide variety of music including opera, jazz, Broadway and modern compositions written especially for brass band, the FCBB seeks to bridge the gap between popular and classical music. Since their first competition in 2004 the Fountain City Brass Band has won multiple U.S. Open Brass Championships and North American Brass Band Championships.
