Description

Based on the bestselling novel of A Man Called Ove author Fredrik Backman, this warmhearted comedy finds Britt-Marie, age 63, suddenly re-considering her purpose in life after leaving her husband of 40 years. Accepting a supremely unglamorous job at a ramshackle rec center in the backwater town of Borg, she begins to take an interest in the daily routines of the town's oddball denizens, who all seem perfectly content to remain stuck in their ways. Determined not to do the same, she welcomes the impossible challenge of coaching the local youth soccer team. While at first she seems like she's the wrong fit for the town and everyone in it, the change brings about new perspective. Perhaps there is an opportunity for a second chance after all?
