Brunch with Billy
Saturday | March 28, 2020 | 11 AM — 1 PM

Billy Colbert will lead an informal talk about his career, inspiration and process at a gallery-setting brunch. His discussion will be followed by a brief Q&A.

In conjunction with Dover's Citywide Black History Celebration, the Biggs Museum is presenting a series of art installations by Delaware State University professor Billy Colbert.

His works are drawn from the theme of this year's celebration, "African American Education Under Segregation." His exhibition incorporates rare historic videos and photographs of black life in the U.S. during the early 20th century alongside artifacts of the separate and unequal educational system on loan from the African American community of Keny County.
