The Big Draw KIDS: Value!
Saturday | October 31, 2020 | 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Every Saturday during the month of October KIDS can join the
Biggs’ education team, exploring different elements of design throughout the
museum! After a hands-on, kid-friendly tour, aspiring artists will go to the
Child Help Gallery to practice new drawing techniques.
This week’s workshop will look at VALUE! Value is how light or dark something is. In art value is
used to make shadows and highlights and helps make drawings look 3D! During
this week’s workshop kids will explore the galleries with a member of the Biggs
Education Team looking at how value is used and learning how to create a value
scale and make objects look 3D in their own artwork!
One adult included with the purchase of a child’s ticket.
This program is recommended for ages 5-12.
