Henri is a middle-aged, once highly acclaimed writer struggling with fading inspiration. Feeling increasingly misunderstood and tied-down by equally frustrated wife and temperamental young adult children, he dreams of running away to start over again. Yet when he discovers a large,  slobbery dog in his garden, he decides to adopt him, much to the dismay of Henri’s family and neighbors. The new addition of the dog sets about chaotic events in Henri and his family’s life that makes him question both how he got to where he is and what he thought he wanted for his future. The bittersweet and moving comedy about love standing the test of time stars iconic real-life couple Charlotte Gainsbourg and Yvan Attal (and their son).

“The result is a well-written and – played remarriage dramedy that explores the Attal-Gainsbourg duo as they hit middle age. CLEVER and CANDID.”– Hollywood Reporter
