"I'll Take Credit for That": A Mary Colter Presentation

Some people believe that celebrated architect and designer Mary Jane Colter (1869-1958) was a fraud. Colter is famous for being the architect and designer for many of the Santa Fe Railroad and Fred Harvey Company buildings including Hopi House in Grand Canyon National Park. Was Colter a resilient figure in a male-dominated profession? On Thursday, January 28 from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. Grand Canyon Guide Haley Johnson will present both sides of the controversy and then you will decide. After Johnson’s online presentation, join the lively but respectful debate. Please leave your rotten tomatoes at the door—we will just be presenting the facts!

Suggested donation $10 per person.
