ArtVenture Summer Camp Session 4: Illustration
July 12-16, 2021. Ages 10-13
Explore the Biggs' collection of narrative and illustrative art including works by Schoonover, Lambdin, and Rogers. Learn dynamic figure drawing techniques as well as how symbols and color are used to help tell stories. Campers will also practice different illustrative techniques and put their skills to the test to create a series of story board illustrations for their own pretend production.
ArtVenture Summer Camp at the Biggs Museum
School’s out, creativity is in! Keep inspiring and learning all summer long at the Biggs ArtVenture Camps, with topics like science, illustration, nature, and more designed especially for students 6 to 13 years old. Aspiring artists and innovators can spend a week exploring the Biggs Museum, learning art techniques, and encouraging creativity. Each full-day camp is led by specially-trained museum staff.

Members: $250
Non-Members: $300
Camp hours: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Extended care: 8:45 AM - 4:00 PM (included with tuition)
