2021 Delaware By Hand Outdoor Artisan Market
Zwaanendael Park in Lewes, DE

Saturday | May 29, 202110 AM - 4 PM

Kick off your 2021 summer with the annual Delaware By Hand Outdoor Artisan Market at Zwaanendael Park in Lewes, Delaware from 10AM – 4PM on the Saturday before Memorial Day!

This year, a limited number of 25 Delaware By Hand artists will display jewelry, wood, metal, glass, ceramics, photography, fiber, sculpture, baskets, prints, and paintings for sale. Their booths will be spread out safely throughout the park.

Admission is free to the public. Mandatory masks and 6-foot social distancing will be enforced by the Department of Public Health and the City of Lewes.

If you are a Delaware By Hand artist member at the Biggs Museum, please register below to reserve your booth space. If you are not yet a DBH member but are interested in becoming one or renewing your status, please contact Membership Manager Kathryn Marro at
kmarro@biggsmuseum.org or 302-674-2111 x114.

Vendor Fee:
Premium Savannah Road Booth: $150
Standard Zwaanendael Park Booth: $100

Vendor Booth Fee Refund Policy: Vendor cancellations are discouraged, evaluated on a per-case basis and usually result in a 50% refund of booth fee until 3 days before the event, when no refunds will be issued.

Museum Cancellation Policy: This a rain or shine event. If the Biggs Museum cancels the event for public health concerns, a full refund will be issued.

This year, each vendor will be given about 20’x20’ space to occupy. It is our hope that you will use this space to open at least two sides of your tent (if you use one) and to spread out your display to facilitate 6’ social distancing and easy movement. The vendor spaces will also be slightly set back from the sidewalks to give a wider area of visitor movement. Once you are set up, museum staff will insert lawn flags to convey the 6’ distance from your booth to minimize crowding. Vendors, museum staff and guests must wear masks throughout the day. We will post signs with these directives at the park entrances, and we suggest that you post a similar set of instrctions at your tent. Museum staff will host disinfection stations at the park entrances and attempt to allow approximately 250 visitors inside the park at any time. We will also direct guests to sign in to the park for contract tracing purposes. These directions were established specifically for this year by the Department of Public Health.
