Biggs Kids: Pop! Rockets

Get ready to celebrate Independence Day with mini
paint-filled Pop-Rockets! Learn about the science that makes rockets launch while
creating your own exciting Pop! Art. We will be using washable tempera paint,
however we recommend dressing to get messy! Our rockets are not loud (it will
sound like bubble gum) but may be startling to very small children. We will
provide goggles to wear while creating your art.
If you cannot join us in person, join us for a virtual Biggs
Kids activity and stop by the museum to pick up supplies to make your own
at-home pop rockets. Join our Facebook Watch Party at 10 AM. We have a limited supply of Big Ol' Bag of Biggs Art, these can be collected from the Biggs Museum throughout the month. To arrange for a pick-up in advance, contact Programs@biggsmuseum.org.
