When a small acting company eliminates one Musketeer from their production of The Three Musketeers due to budget constraints, the rest of the cast must sally forth bravely with only two. The classic tale of D'Artagnan and his sword-fighting friends is presented by a hilariously self-aware cast of six, with romance, wit, and derring-do to spare. This high-comedy adaptation written by John Jory is a witty send-up of Alexandre Dumas' beloved adventure.
There are only six actors but the script has twenty-five characters. While one actor is limited to the role of D’Artagnan, the others portray from three to seven roles. This show is filled with tons of physical comedy, pantomime, the brandishing of swords, and fight scenes that require a certain level of athletics. This show offers many challenges to both actors and technical production members, and it's easily enjoyed by all ages.
