Rossini’s charming L’Italiana in Algeri Overture opens an evening of playful music that soon flows into the turbulent waters of The Hebrides by Mendelssohn. The evening continues with the most famous guitar concerto ever written, Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez featuring guest artist, Jiji. We conclude on an enchanting note with Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin, an homage to French composer FranÇois Couperin.
