Albany Chorale, plus choruses from Lee County High School, Colquitt County High School

Several choruses from south Georgia will be going to Carnegie Hall on March 19, 2022 to perform Francis Poulenc’s choral/orchestral masterpiece “Gloria.” This ASO concert will help prepare them for their experience, share this wonderful music with south Georgia, and serve as a congratulatory send-off. The performance will feature a combined choir including chorus members of the Albany Chorale, Lee County High School, Colquitt County High School, and Valdosta State University. In keeping with the French flavor, Hector Berlioz’ “Roman Carnival Overture,” Lily Boulanger’s “D’un martin du printemps,” and Maurice Ravel’s “Bolero”
will be performed.
