PERSPECTIVES FILM SERIES PRESENTS: TANGERINE (2015)

Contemporary Calgary in partnership with Pink Flamingo launch a new film series curated by Alia Aluma, that includes QTBIPOC films, diverse voices, global titles and narratives that confront prejudices. Join us September 2 at 7:00pm for the first screening of our ten part series.

This month’s Perspective touches on the theme of Women & Men; Vibrant, poetic, and real, Tangerine (2015) reveals the true challenges that women face in different regions and stages of their lives. Exploring the realities of violence against women, coming-of-age, love and relationships, these titles will bring tears and genuine laughter, forcing us to confront our biases and notions of freedom.

This is an in-person program. Masks are strongly encouraged and will be made available at our welcome desk. Physical distancing will be maintained in seating arrangements.
