On July 20th, 1969, the Lunar Module “Eagle” brought humanity to the moon for the first time. Behind those first steps, there were thousands of Grumman engineers who spent years of their life planning, designing and innovating the Space Era with the creation of the Lunar Modules (LEMs): the actual spaceship that landed on the moon and returned the astronauts safely.
This film not only highlights the technology and science behind the LEM but the years of efforts and personal sacrifices that Grumman engineers put on to make history.
