Relationships are complicated. but when one person dominates another through coercive control, threats or abuse – that’s domestic violence. National statistics cite 1 in 4 women, and 1 in 7 men, will be in an abusive relationship at some point in their life. Abuse isn’t happening elsewhere; it is happening right here in our community.
