production of the Broadway musical "The Cocoanuts" which ran for 216 shows in 1925-1926.
This film version of the live show offers a rare, historic look at a 20s era Broadway musical.
Paramount made very few concessions in adapting the stage show to the screen, so what we
have here is basically a filmed play, and a very rare treat!
