Improv Workshop with Les Rorick

Description

Les Rorick is an actor, director, and educator. He was Director of Theatre for Love Nail Tree, a story-telling company based in Los Angeles, where he devised thought-provoking pieces about social justice. He is also a founding member of L.A.'s Street Shakespeare.  

Les studied Theology at Biola University in Southern California and received his MFA in Acting from the University of Virginia. He previously taught acting, improv, circus, and public speaking courses at Act One Studios, University of Virginia, American Theater Company, Olive Tree Arts Network, and CircEsteem. Les is an Instructor of Theater at Muskegon Community College. 

Dogwood Center is ecstatic to invite Les to work with our community for a five-day workshop. Youth, ages 10-18, will learn the basic rules of improv, teamwork, and the ability to tell a story through games and scene work. Pre-registration required. Spots are limited.
