THE MOVIES AND THE MUSIC
Donna Parker makes her debut at Old Town Music Hall with a delightful concert and a highly
anticipated program that explores the work of female silent filmmakers.
The concert portions of the show will feature some of Donna’s favorite melodies from film –
both the silent era and beyond. She will then share three rare short films, each directed by a
remarkable female director of the silent era, and each accompanied live on the Mighty Wurlitzer
Theater Pipe Organ.
