Mr. Ploutz is a 52-year member of Estanislo Chapter 58, serving as a Past President, Board Member for life, and Grand Council Board Member for the eleven Western States of E Clampus Vitus, INC, as well as being the Chapter Historian.
Mr. Ploutz has been a resident of Stanislaus County for over the last 80 years. He is a Founding Director of the Great Valley Museum of Modesto, Past President, Founding Director, and Board Member of the La Grange Museum and Historical Society.
This event of "THE GOLD OF STANISLAUS" will cover the original development of Stanislaus Counties' gold discoveries, original mining camps, and ghost towns of the past. The types of gold mining, where and how it was found.
This will be a very enjoyable and educational evening.
