The Sturges-Young Center for the Arts annually hosts a Christmas Tree Auction Fundraiser in early November to kick off the Holiday shopping season with flair. This year we are excited to announce that the event will once again be held in person at the Sturges-Young, benefiting both the SYCA and Thurston Woods Village! The event will kick off on Friday, November 4 at 4:00 p.m. with trees on display in the Beck Ballroom and a silent toy auction benefiting Thurston Woods Village, held in the main lobby of the Sturges-Young, and open to the public! 

At 5:30 p.m., the Holiday Kaleidoscope swings into full gear and opens to ticket holders with a silent auction in the lounge, the live auction featuring sponsored trees and wreaths, a holiday-themed dinner, and raffle prizes! It is sure to be an exciting, fun-filled holiday celebration! Tickets for the SYCA Live Auction are $41 per plate, available in sponsored tables of 8, 4, or limited couples tickets.

Additional Information

The centerpiece of the Holiday Kaleidoscope festivities, the live Christmas tree auction, always delights and astounds attendees! Your table purchase includes participation in this fully immersive and decorative event. Each table of 8  chooses and sets their own themed decor and place settings (the table comes with a floor-length black tablecloth, and chairs are covered in black spandex). Open to more than just Christmas themes, some guests will even wear matching costumes completing their decor display!

Not up for the challenge of decorating a whole table? Limited couples seating of 2 and 4 seat combos are available at tables sponsored and decorated by the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts.

Your tickets include a delicious served meal and dessert exquisitely catered by Tasteful Kreations of Bronson, MI, (meat choice selected at checkout) cocktail hour starts at 5:30 and runs for the duration of the event, and raffle tickets are also available for purchanse at the door. Want to participate in the live auction? Receive a bidding paddle upon check in at the event, or bid on any of our silent auction items! All proceeds from the SYCA silent and live auctions as well as raffle sales go to support the SYCA Road to Restoration Capital upgrades and your auction purchases are tax deductible. We look forward to having you join us kick off the holiday season in style!

If decorating a table of 8, a Holiday Kaleidoscope committee member will be contacting you prior to Nov 2nd to get a table theme description. Please feel free to contact the Sturges-Young in advance with this information if available.

Dinner Menu -  Meat choices: Beef Loin, Creamy Herbed Chicken, or Veggie Lasagna. All meals served with a pear salad, sour cream and chive mashed potatoes, green beans with peppers, dinner rolls, and assorted cheesecakes for dessert. Please provide main meat choices in the text bodx when prompted to complete ticket purchase.

ALL MEAL CHOICES MUST BE PLACED BY FRIDAY, OCT 28, or guests will be subject to available options.
