Enjoy the latest film in the Sturgis Historical Society "Windows to Our Past" series, Journey of the 11th, chronicling the 11th regiment of the Michigan infantry in the Civil War, along with performances by the Sturgis Wind Symphony! It promises to be a spectacular evening, celebrating all of our veterans, on Veteran's Day!
Veterans are entitled to one free ticket to attend, courtesy of the Newell A. & Grace A. Franks Fund, and can get a voucher at Five Lakes Coffee, Willer's Shoes, York Mercantile or the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce. Vouchers must be redeemed for an actual ticket at the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts.
This Windows To Our Past film is proudly presented by the Sturgis Historical Society with support from the Sturgis Area Community Foundation and the Newell A. & Grace A. Franks Fund.
Seating is General Admission. Doors are at 6pm. The SHS Museum Gift Shop will be in the lobby for gift purchases of previous films and other great gift ideas. The SYCA Concession stand will also be offering refreshments available for purchase, including popcorn, soda, beer and wine.
