Join Contemporary Calgary for the final screening in our Perspectives Film Series in partnership with Pink Flamingo and curated by Alia Aluma, the series has included and brought QTBIPOC films to the forefront, emboldened diverse voices, amplified global titles and empowered narratives that confront prejudices.
What an amazing year this has been for Film at Contemporary Calgary. Due to incredible feedback and engagement from the community, the series will continue with new partnerships under the same curator and the same goal of introducing diverse perspectives to our community. Our PERSPECTIVE this month introduces audiences to the different circumstances that families face, with special emphasis on understanding the role of parenthood. Run Woman Run teaches us that regardless of who our children, neighbors, or communities are, we all experience challenges when raising a family while also learning or remembering to care for ourselves.
