We are very excited to tell you about the collaboration between the PAC
Youth Theatre and the Highlands School. Joi Chapman, the music and drama
teacher, and artistic director is directing a production of Fame jr.
starring the middle school students. Fame
jr. will be presented on
Thursday, November 3 at 7 pm in the new Performing Arts Center theater. Joi
has an extensive background in musical theatre, having taught and performed in
Sarasota and Venice. We are fortunate to have her living and working on the
plateau. The PAC Youth Theatre program is funded by grants from the Cullasaja
Women’s Outreach and Mountain Findings.
