The Spirit of Christmas is a musical Rock Opera Spectacular Christmas Experience.
Fueled by the Youth bands of GK music, over 100 youth musicians along with their instructors will take the stage across 20 different bands, live actors, a full choir, and visual effects to bring this story to life. The story lives through modern Rock, Metal, and Jazz. The story is inspired by Christmas classics combined with some unique surprises.
Our story follows Mr. Scrooge who is ready to have a nice quiet evening, free from those Christmas Do Gooders. When Scrooge turns off his bedroom light, this is where his journey begins. A journey some will soon not forget. A journey that may change what some may believe, A story that we like to call, “The Spirit of Christmas Eve."
About GK Music:
GK Music and Fine Arts Academy is a music school based in Manteca California that teaches brass, percussion, woodwinds, strings, piano, voice, music theory, lyric composition, project rock bands, and recording. GK is home to over 400 students, 25 teachers, and 20 student bands.
