Inspired by the Human Capital exhibition, teens will be using photos of themselves to create an identity collage art piece. The purpose of this activity is to dive deeper into our identities and contemplate how they can be represented through these pieces. What parts of the exhibit speak to us and what parts to feel we connect the most with due to our experiences?
In this activity, participants will be using their photos as a base. Teens can choose to cut photos and use them in different areas of their collage or keep the photo as is. In this activity, they will be invited to explore overlapping mediums and textures that represent and reflect different aspects of themselves in order to create a unique piece.
