Join us at Contemporary Calgary on Sunday, November 20, 2022 to observe Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) along with community partners Antyx, Skipping Stone, Kaffee Klatsch, Calgary Outlink, and Centre for Sexuality. Everyone is welcome to attend, as we come together as a community to hold vigil for all those who have lost their lives as the result of transphobic violence and hate.
The day will feature guest speakers and a performance by the Anacrusis Music and Skipping Stone queer youth choir and performance group, 6 Below - whose songs empower and affirm trans and gender-diverse folks.
There will also be workshops hosted by Centre for Sexuality, community art projected lead by Skipping Stone, as well as many opportunities to come together as the City of Calgary and hold vigil throughout the day.
